The crew that shows up at your door in Fort Worth isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. It’s the same small group of technicians, week after week, working out of a shop that’s been under the Garrison Partners umbrella of accountability since 2001. Wade Mercer runs this location day to day, and he’s built the team around a simple idea: know your job, show up when you say you will, and don’t leave until the door runs right. Every technician is background-checked, uniformed, and trained on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor equipment. No exceptions.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Robert Diaz, Lead Technician
Robert has been twisting torsion springs and setting opener limits in the Fort Worth area for 14 years. He’s the guy we send when a door has been “fixed” twice by someone else and still runs like it has a grudge. Robert holds certifications on LiftMaster and Genie opener systems, and he’s got a knack for diagnosing circuit board failures without firing the parts cannon at the problem. He keeps a torque wrench in his truck that’s older than most of the techs on the road, and it’s calibrated before every shift. On weekends, Robert rebuilds small engines in his garage. His neighbors have stopped asking why.
Marcus Lee, Senior Installer
Marcus started with us eight years ago after a stretch doing commercial door work across Dallas county. He’s the lead on full door replacements and new opener installs, and he’s particular about headroom clearances, track alignment, and the way a door balances when it’s halfway up. Marcus is factory-trained on Clopay and Amarr product lines, and he handles the heavy steel and insulated door jobs that need a second pair of hands and a level of patience most people don’t have. He’s also the only person we’ve ever met who genuinely enjoys rewiring opener sensors. We don’t ask why. We just let him do it.
Dana Whitfield, Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call (682) 730-8314, and she’s been dispatching repair crews in Fort Worth for six years. She knows the difference between a door that won’t open at all and a door that opens halfway, makes an awful sound, and then quits, and she’ll ask the right questions before we roll a truck. Dana keeps the schedule tight, confirms written price quotes before technicians leave the shop, and makes sure every customer knows what to expect before the truck even backs out. She’s also the one who tracks the 365-Day Done Right Promise paperwork, which means she’s watched a lot of repairs succeed and a handful come back for the free correction we stand behind. Outside work, Dana runs half marathons and claims she never gets sore. We don’t believe her.
Chris Pemberton, Apprentice Technician
Chris joined Brock Garage Doors Fort Worth two years ago through a trade school program in Tarrant County. He works alongside Robert and Marcus on most calls, learning cable rigging, spring replacement safety, and opener diagnostics the right way: with supervision, with proper tools, and with a healthy respect for what a wound torsion spring can do if you’re careless. High-tension springs and cables store enough energy to cause serious injury, which is exactly why we never let an apprentice touch them unsupervised. Chris is sharp on Chamberlain and Craftsman systems, and he’s already earned the right to handle basic roller and hinge replacements on his own. He keeps a notebook in the truck and writes down torque specs, drum positions, and shim counts after every job. That level of attention is why we invested in him.
Every technician on this crew, including Chris, has passed a background check and wears a Brock uniform when they arrive at your door. You’ll never have to wonder who’s in your driveway.
One Standard, Every Job
The Garrison Standard is the operating discipline behind every Brock Garage Doors Fort Worth job. It’s not a plaque on the wall. It’s a checklist that applies to every call: written price before work starts, uniformed and vetted technician on site, clean work area when the job is done, and a repair covered for 365 days in writing. If a covered repair fails inside that year, we come back and make it right at no charge. That’s the deal, spelled out on paper, every time. The Garrison Code holds us to arrival windows, honest pricing, and the kind of accountability that independent shops either embrace or walk away from. We chose to embrace it in Fort Worth, because a local crew with a national standard behind it is a stronger operation than either one alone.
